Zendaya Hair – Zendaya Hairstyles

Zendaya is quickly becoming one of today’s beauty icons, whether it’s through her gorgeous makeup or her unpredictable hair. How many people can say they inspired a Barbie? She plays her look quite often, but you have to see what the star just achieved for her last photoshoot.

Zendaya recently posed for a phenomenal story for Addicted to the mane, a site dedicated to what many of us enjoy – entire hair inspiration. Not to mention, it’s also the brainchild of Kylie Jenner’s hair guru Jen Atkin. While Zendaya admits she likes to take risks when it comes to her hair (and credits her quick transformations to Magic), much of her courage comes from her creative director and stylist, Law Roach.

“When I do my hair, it’s usually a collaboration between me and Law,” she says. “He gets the idea. Everything comes from his brain, [but] sometimes he has an idea and then we all talk about it and it turns into something else, ”she shared.

For this shoot, Mane Addicts brought in one of Zendaya’s go-to hairstylists, Larry Sims, to create his epic hair moves. Larry praised Zendaya (who recently became the spokesperson for hair brand Chi), telling Mane Addicts, “Zendaya is fearless. It’s a designer’s dream. Inspired by Cher, we wanted to create the straight bone, parted in the middle, a chic vibe. He could be described as a modern day Janis Joplin. We kind of did a version of that at AMAs a few years ago when she wore an all-white ensemble, but we haven’t revisited her in quite some time.

Taking a trip through different eras of beauty was the inspiration behind the shoot, and Larry shared some tips on how to achieve some of the looks.

“That kind of shape needs to be really defined, and I couldn’t have sculpted it the same way with snips. There is a symmetry that you can create very well to get those perfect straight lines with mowers, ”he said.

For Zendaya’s wispy look, Larry used wigs for extra length and volume. “We used two wigs. I cut them a bit to shape them, then I secured them with pins. I used color spray in Zendaya’s hair to blend it with the wigs. We teased for the height and off we went! I put a little wind on it and it was good to go, ”he explained.

Grace Jones is the muse that inspired this final look. “That last look was all about Grace Jones. It was old style, a high end fade. It was a tribute to the time Zendaya grew up,” he explained.

Zendaya also had a few tips to share with young girls who want a change of look every now and then. “Dark!” she says. “With beauty and fashion, I think everyone should just try to make their own. Don’t try to fit into a mold that doesn’t exist. We each have our own form of beauty, and that is. really special, “she said. And she’s right! As an advocate for young women around the world, Zendaya makes it her mission to appreciate all forms of beauty.

As for what she’ll try the next time she wants to experiment, Zendaya says, “I want to play with color. I haven’t really played with my hair color before, but it would be something fun to try. I’m saying you should never try something new. We can’t wait to see!
